CCTV appeal after theft in Newcastle bank

Police have released an image of a woman they want to speak to after a theft in Newcastle.

The theft happened at about 12.30pm, Tuesday February 13, when a 50 year-old woman was in NatWest, on Northumberland Street.

She was withdrawing cash from an ATM at which point it was stolen.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the incident and are now appealing for the woman pictured to get in contact.

She was in the area at the time and may have information that could help with the enquiry.

The woman, or anyone who recognises her, is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting reference 019460M/18 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
