Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act') 

Thank you for your e mail dated 31  January 2017 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police. 

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions. 

You asked: 

1. What is the total number of invoices processed through accounts payable (AP) for each of the last five financial years:

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Finance and HR Departments of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held in part by Northumbria Police.

8. The Force does not use any 3rd party services or software to manage/book agency workers. If there was a requirement to recruit agency workers the Force would approach the agency directly.

9. The Force maintains a database of temporary workers which it typically utilises to recruit to temporary/short term vacancies. There are currently around 60 individuals registered with the Force, of which, around 40 are currently engaged.

10. The Force does not use any 3rd party service or software to manage the bank workers.
